Nail Art - Simple Glitter Gradient

Hi Everyone!

Today I tried out a glitter gradient using My Favourite Ornament from the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday Collection 2013. I simply used the brush from the nail polish bottle to carefully apply the glitter polish to the tops of my nail creating a gradient effect.

Polishes used:
Base Coat - Essie Grow Richer
 OPI Got a Date To-Knight
OPI My Favourite Ornament
Top Coat - Poshe

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hey there! I'm a new follower :) I found you on Beginning Blogger's Bootcamp links from Will Paint Nails for Foods blog!

I honestly don't see anything wrong with your blog, I love it! It's very neat and easy to read. Keep up the awesome work :) If I were to change just ONE thing, I would make the reading pane a bit wider, but then again your name is "skinny nails" so it kinda goes with the name! Hope to see you around my blog!

  2. Hi! I saw your link from Blogger's Bootcamp. Honestly I don't have any criticism for you either. Your blog is clear and concise. It is easy to navigate, and your photos are well lit. All I can really say is keep up the good work! ^_^

  3. Also saw you on WPNFF!

    - Lovely nails, writing, and layout. Yay for pink!
    - My suggestion is not to have so much empty white space at the top of your header. Make that header image less bulky so your content isn't getting pushed so far down!

Oop! One more thing: turn the captcha off for commenting. I know this drives me nuts and is a huge deterrent to me commenting on blogs! Consider using Disqus if you want something more secure without the annoying "type this nonsense word in" business. It also is way easier to follow conversations and replies using that system, and you can import all your old Blogger comments with it, so you don't lose anything!

    1. Hi Rochelle, thanks for taking time to take a look :)
The white at the top has been irritating me too! I'm going to have a look at it and try add something. And I wasn't aware captcha was on but I'll be turning it off, I can never get it right when I do them!
Thanks and I'll be sure to check out your blog soon :)

  4. Hi, I came here from Will Paints Nails for Food feedback form. I like your blog - the photos are clear, I like the layout, and your writing is clear & concise. I would echo Rochelle's suggestion of making your header a little smaller or add something to it. That's a lot of wasted space. :) (oops and I agree with the turning off captcha. I hate it too.)
